This gallery centralizes the archived stories of womxn living at the intersections of their gender, race, sexuality, class, and more. Together, the womxn of the project are creating a space in which they—or rather, we—can exist without inhibition.

We are the willful, the troublemakers, the disruptors, the courageous, the “lovers of other women, sexually and/or nonsexually”, and for those reasons, 

WE ARE APRBLEM. 

 

Theme: Re(in-bodiment)

"In-bodiment": a state of being. To achieve this state of being, you are required to do the work of reassembling the pieces, getting in-(your)-body and suturing the ruptures of self and spirit from the inside-out.

 

In other words, it requires digging to depths of who you are and what you've felt and known (in-body) then repairing the diassemblage.
